I work on the financial side of the industry (the side that bills insurers) and people always assume I must be mistaken or exaggerating when I tell them that their insurance companies just straight up lie to deny their claims. They make things up. Constantly. On thousands of claims per day.

The Shisui i'm referring to is the character in a fictional Japanese show about a fictionalized historic china, so I know it doesn't actually matter and that the show itself is going to pronounce names in a way that makes sense for a Japanese speaking audience.

Since the name is presumably mandarin, there would also be tones associated with each syllable, but 1) i don't know what they would be and 2) I dont expect English speakers to use them in a sentence because our language doesn't use tone to indicated different words.

In case anyone wants to know, the name Shisui would not be pronounced like "shee-swee". Chinese pinyin does not follow the same rules as Japanese romanji. "Shi" sounds more like the word "sure" but with the ending "r" sound cut off. "Sui" sounds more like "sway"

I wish english-speaking people who make videos discussing characters with non-english names would take the time to learn how those names are pronounced. Especially if those names come from a language outside of Europe.
