I've spent about 2.5 hours editing 'was' out of my manuscript. I'm currently about 110/282 pages through it, and I've already cut almost 150. This is a time-consuming step, but I know it makes it so much stronger, so I guess it's worth it.

Sometimes, you just have to start typing (or painting, or playing music, etc.) You can plan, but a lot of creative inspiration comes in the moment. Ideas are forged in the flow of the work, and improvisation is the mother of creativity. So, lay the groundwork and then just get out there and do it.

Hello new people! I want to do the obligatory "welcome" post. I'm the author of the soon™ to be released series #Infernulls a fantasy light novel inspired by video games, anime, and classic fantasy from the 80s and 90s. I'm also working on a #CatIsekai that will be released in mini chapters.
