Part of why I’m painting a Baja Blast is to challenge my skills. Making astro-themed art that requires painting new materials or complex lighting. Tricky components for this include: carbonated liquid in a semi-transparent cup, refraction of a metal straw, and 2 “stickers” behind the cup. 🚀🍋‍🟩

More progress on the Baja Blast painting. It’s on my easel. The bottom of the drink has more bubbles and the color is blended out in the whole drink. The stickers in the background have a subtle shadow

Close up of the background “stickers”. White outlines now have a shadow. Cheesy Gordita crunches are painted. Stars and rocket ships are left to finish
