According to BeenVerified, there was a Jeffrey Epstein in Long Island, married to a woman named Patricia Schmidt, who was born in 1948, which seems to line up with this investigation. It looks like this one was misreported by the Palm Beach Post (1st page below). Nice catch, everyone! #EpsteinFiles

I’m leaving this up so we can have a good debate about it. I also thought the latter article was not THE Jeffrey Epstein, but the former links to the date almost exactly and he very often lied about his age and partner status. So let’s keep digging!! #EpsteinFiles

(Info found by an amazing Substacker) So after Epstein became a self-made millionaire by 1988 (worth almost $20 million), he was caught 4 years later stealing Social Security checks out of people’s mailboxes. He lied about his age and said that Patricia was his wife. So who was she? #EpsteinFiles

When Epstein applied to Bear Stearns, he used a fake birth date and claimed he got his BA from Cooper Union and MA from NYU. At some point they discovered the false information, including that he had been a lecturer at UC Berkeley. And they still hired him. #EpsteinFiles

On March 12, 1981, Epstein was suspended from Bear Stearns and fined $2,500. He resigned the same day. At the time, he his salary was $42,000/year. He went on to start his own company, to “recover” missing money for wealthy clients. 7 years later he was worth $20 million. #EpsteinFiles
