Omigod, this is the most heartwarming story possible! Backpack (bear 89) is the son of the 2019 winner of Fat Bear Week, Holly (bear 435). In 2007, he injured his foot & a practice of riding on momma's Holly's back had a new meaning: he was mobility-restricted while it healed. So Holly moved him.

From DISCVR blog's Facebook page, a momma bear & a yearling cub on her back in the shallow water. I think the background has been swapped out, and I can't rule out some AI use there? God, Facebook has become the social media for AI slop : (

In particular this darling donkey crab tortoise monstrosity is dedicated to @kaseygifford.bsky.social Who has been creating marvellous monsters since forever ago.

A fuzzy donkey head and neck looks forward out of a crabs carapace with its ears pointing forward, to either shoulder are the crabs eyes, they hold big chunky claws in front of them and the ends of where the crabs feet would be a little hooves. To the right of it is a side view of the donkey chimera creature. Revealing its shell transforms into a tortoise shell and it has a pair of tortoise hind legs in the caboose along with a donkey tail.

and yes, before anyone asks, I am absolutely familiar with Pascal Jousselin's Mr. Invincible (as it's called in English)! As good as I thought it was when I just seen a few pages online, when it finally came out in english, I was shocked how relentlessly creative he was page after page - so good!

Cover to Mr. Invincible, and interior page - in which using his powers to see the layout of the page, mr. invincible rescues a cat in a tree not by climbing the tree, but by reaching down to the panel below him and grabbing it that way. It's pretty fun - and only in comics!

AI transcriptions are like washing machines. Both technologies help solve a problem, but create new problems and new expectations about productivity. Washing machines are more efficient in many cases, but some items still need to be hand washed or dry cleaned.
