if people were really concerned about cost and engineering constraints then the solution of "turn MLK into a car-free greenway for bikes and reroute car traffic down Rainier" wouldn't turn so many heads a lot easier to reroute an i-5 entry route than an entire train route at this point

He said he believes Ottawa had no choice but to walk away from the bargaining table with Washington – and he says that as a long-time admirer of the U.S.

But he said that for Canada to maintain its sovereignty, it must pursue diminished reliance upon the United States.

“There will be significant costs to this effort,” Harper said, but he added he believes they are costs that Canadians are prepared and willing to accept. He didn’t elaborate on what those costs are.

Washington folks, don’t sleep on WSDOT’s e-bike rebate program. My husband recently had his e-bike stolen outside the UW gym. He applied to the rebate program and was selected. It’s a lottery but almost 20% of those who apply get it. Rebate amount varies by income, from $300 to $1,200.
