It would be useful if articles on the flu bringing the health system to the brink looked at the impact of removing free vaccines for Under 12s and the Pasifika/Maaori populations that evidence showed were most vulnerable. The brink didn’t arrive in a vacuum divorced from policy decisions. #nzpol

i think reporters owe it to the NZ public to stop using euphemisms like "unusual" or adding 'humanising' details to soften what these public figures are doing - associating with extremists and calling their political opponents "barely human". This is very clearly fascist behaviour.

They take the classroom + all their families down! I’ve never understood the rationale around any of this as it is just not logical. But it comes from a man who isn’t constantly getting sick from his own children. On top of this they think school children don’t need vaccinations.
