Goodnight. The Ghost Story, Frederick Smallfield, 1829-1915. #Gothtober #31DaysOfHalloween

A wide-eyed young sits hunched over a large book as he is sat at a table. Their face appears shocked and is lit brightly by a candle. On the table there is a slice of pork pie. In the background, a cat with glowing eyes peeks over the edge of a plate. There is also a newspaper or document on the table that hints at spooky themes. Painting.

Our built infrastructure robs kids of their freedom of independent mobility. Streets are dominated by oversized vehicles, piloted by aggressive and distracted drivers where one mistake can turn lethal. We sacrificed child development to subsidize the auto industry.

I cannot give legal advice. Official U.S. law that is clearly on point treats drug boats mainly as a law-enforcement problem, not a general grant for the military to destroy vessels on suspicion.

The bond yield story just keeps getting starker.

Line chart titled "10-Year Treasury Note" showing the yield on the 10-year Treasury note from late 2025 through September 2026. Treasury yields surged dramatically to 5.29 percent on September 29, 2026, the highest level in the period shown. This represents a sharp 130 basis point increase from the October 2025 low of 3.96 percent and a particularly rapid 45 basis point climb over just the final month. After trading mostly between 4.00 and 4.75 percent for nearly a year, yields broke decisively above 5.00 percent in September 2026, signaling a fundamental shift in borrowing costs and market conditions.

what odds that i'll get a human addressing my question, not auto-garbage referring me back to what i already disclaimed in the first line of my text

After reading all the vague text about returns and exchanges, i have a specific question. Can i return AS REFUND if i have only installed the unit as replacement for the original drive which had come up as "Not Installed" - but the PNY replacement also reports "Not Installed" MEANING that neither unit is defective, but the problem lies elsewhere, so it won't help me to keep the PNY and it won't help me to exchange it, i would instead need a refund. Thank you
