Reiner van der Hoorn is first up on the last day of #2025ISMPMI. Clever use of blue/white screening to identify a bacterial inhibitor of plant beta-galactosidase. Pseudomonas-produced glycoserin mimics galactose! Also found that glycoserin production stems from purine biosynthesis.
