Another measurement issue is re-labeling of labor income as capital income for tax avoidance. As careful work by @omzidar.bsky.social and others shows, this is a real phenomenon. However, this can only explain a minority of the L-share fall, so most of it remains. www.aeaweb.org/articles?id=...
