Mamdani is 100% right here, despite some people reading into this things that are not said here. Antisemitism is a scourge upon the world. Doesn't need any qualification or quantification or caveats or what-abouts. Any antisemitism is too much antisemitism.

Things I’ve seen people hand it to Hitler for in comparison to Trump: -fighting for his nation unlike SOMEONE who fights for Russia…. Y’know what I’m not gonna start -accepting the expertise of a qualified architect (Speer) for his building projects -having bigger hands -not bribing voters

They note that all visitors are required to walk through body scanners in each of the state’s 41 facilities while officers can simply decide if they want to be screened. (State law prevents the department from forcing correction officers to go through body scanners; they can refuse “for medical or other reasons” and opt for alternative methods of screening.)

...Which maybe THAT'S part of why we're seeing less of various representations. Shorter seasons, longer times between seasons, and smaller writers rooms, means everyone is coming in as strangers, unsure if they can fully unmask, especially with corporate breathing down everyone's necks.

Oh my god, they're literally doing Trinitarianism?! For Taylor Swift?!
Text reading:

It's Me, Hi! I'm the Problem

But from Taylor’s perspective, there are just three selves. Poet is the closest to the real version of Taylor as a person, and she has always been the driving force behind Taylor's music. Showgirl came on the scene pretty quickly, and is obviously the popstar, the brand, the face of the performance that needed to exist for the public, and as a form of protection for Poet. This is why it’s possible to see Taylor in dialogue with herself from Speak Now if not earlier, as in u/Lanathas_22 ‘s excellent analyses (e.g. this one which identifies 'the girl in the dress' as an early description of Showgirl) - and this trend intensified during reputation and again during folklore/evermore.

The third Taylor, Director, only appeared post-Lover and is first described and addressed in Midnights. Director is the planner, the 'mastermind' who takes control of the situation after the masters sale and stalled coming out in summer 2019 and makes a new plan to move forward. In 'Anti-Hero', we are shown a giant Taylor who appears to compliment the lyrics, 'too big to hang out'. In the song, I think we are hearing about Taylor's oversize reputation, Showgirl's dominance and the problems it causes. But in the music video, something slightly different is happening. As u/districtofthehare has argued, we are being introduced to Director, whose quick-thinking covers up the queerness of Miss Americana with a political documentary. Director is oversized in relation to Poet and Showgirl because she is essentially a puppeteer in relation to them - from now on she will be pulling the strings to tell the story. And Poet and Showgirl are excited and relieved to see her, when they are sitting forlorn on the roof.

condensation. My cheeks were pink. I combed my wet hair, slid my limbs through the cotton sweatshirt, draped my necklace back over my neck, centering it on my chest. I laced up my boots, the only other item I'd been allowed to keep. I stuffed my blue sweatpants inside them, on second thought, untucked them, pulling them over the outside, better. As I shaped my hair into a bun, I noticed a tag dangling from my sleeve. On it a tiny drawing of a clothesline, Grateful Garments.
Every year Grandma Ann (not blood related but our grandmother all the same) made extravagant paper hats out of recycled material: the mesh netting of pears, colored comics, indigo feathers, origami flowers. She sold them at street fairs and donated the proceeds to local organizations, including Grateful Garments, which provided clothes for survivors of sexual violence. Had this organization not existed, I would have left the hospital wearing nothing but a flimsy gown and boots. Which meant all the hours spent cutting and taping hats at the dinner table, selling them at a little booth in the sun, had gifted me a gentle suit of armor. Grandma Ann wrapped herself around me, told me I was ready.

Exactly How Many Taylors Are There?
🪩Braid Theory + 2-3 Taylors

Thanks to u/gilbke 's fun post last week, I've been thinking again about the Target promo and commercial for TLOAS, and that has made me think about versions of Taylor… This is more a case of the penny slowly dropping, thanks to Taylor's hints, lyrics and visuals and thanks to the brilliant insights of Gaylors on this sub, than of a huge interpretive breakthrough. But I think I can finally put together a theory that accounts for all of the Taylors we have seen.
Introduction

Gaylors were pretty quick off the mark to realise that Taylor was often in dialogue with herself- the two Taylors theory - and then added a third Taylor to the model following ‘Anti-Hero’ for obvious reasons. I do think we’ve often been uncertain about exactly how many Taylors there are, though, and I remember when we first saw the Target promo with all the TLOAS posters on display there was some discussion in the sub about how there may be many multiples of Taylor like the small broken pieces that make a mirrorball.

I'm sorry, but "DL Tucker Carlson" is a Cumtown bit with eight different "animations" on YouTube
Text reading:

The language is conspicuous too. Candace fancies herself a tongue magician, implying she has done this with other women before and desires satiating
  female genitalia.
To contrast, imagine Tucker Carlson having a gay dating profile where he talks about “eating dick all night, I love giving head, and I consider myself to be very good at swallowing penis.” He would rightfully be the laughingstock of the political world, as should Candace!

There's multiple good threads going around today about how to speak up when you see something wrong. I'd like to recommend "gentle parenting other adults". Examples: "no thank you, we use kind words, please" or "listening ears on! Our friend said 'no'" Condescending? Yes, and that's the point.
