I always photograph memorials to people that you find in remote locations. In this case on top of Parys Mountain, Anglesey. They’re part of the funerary & ritual archaeology of the future. In this case, given the date of death (July 2020), you wonder if Kirsty (33) was a Covid victim.

After Owain Glyndŵr's death, Madyn brought a head to the King saying that it was Owain's head, and the King asked the Welsh whether they would recognize Owain's head, and one of them said that he would know if he could see it because there was a wart on the crown. (1/2)

This copy of the Welsh law (hdl.handle.net/10107/4400109) is known for its accompanying illustrations. Sadly the cat seems to have been colored with a corrosive green and now we’re left with a cat-shaped hole. Luckily, she is still ‘of perfect claws’ on her front paws! 🐾 🐈‍⬛ 3/3
A cat-shaped hole between a few lines of text. The color used to decorate the cat (and an initial P to its lower left) was corrosive and ate through the vellum. NLW Peniarth MS 28, fol. 26r.
