Just going on record to say how disappointed I am with Labour in supporting that stupid Under-16 social media ban because of fucking populism & choosing NOT TO LISTEN to people within their own party who do actually know better. Fucks sake 😞

You're a CEO, recruited in supposedly grim times. Your company is falling behind it's competitors, your equipment is old, you're losing skilled staff. What do you do? Cut spending, scrimp and save, downsize... or invest in the turnaround. Raise some capital, back yourself, build capability?

What I'd say to you is if that we constrain public spending (G) then GDP actually goes up... because when you disrupt to the max, claud-up for the future, and re-tool your productivity-set, maths starts to work backwards - plus becomes minus, minus becomes plus. You just have to believe in yourself.
The equation for the GDP expenditure approach is GDP = C + I + G + (X - M) (or GDP = C + I + G + NX), where total economic output is calculated by summing consumer spending, business investment, government purchases, and net exports.Formula ComponentsC (Consumption): Household spending on goods and services.I (Investment): Business spending on tools, equipment, factories, and new homes.G (Government): Public spending on goods, services, and infrastructure.X (Exports): Products made locally and sold to other countries.M (Imports): Products made abroad and bought locally.(X - M) or NX: Net exports (Exports minus Imports), which adjusts the total to only count goods produced inside the country
