As someone who had cut her teeth on fansubs and was over the moon to buy her first Anime DVD from a Suncoast (Sailor Moon S Volume 1), I’m gutted to see the way things look in the industry these days - lots of “access” to content but it’s almost all vapid and ephemeral.
