Not sure, they will still have lots of ££ and would probably get into Europe with a 20 point deduction

That’s a very bad punishment as it won’t remove them from the league and might not even remove them from qualifying for Europe. Shuffling them down to league 2 would be ok.

The BBC news summary this morning went seamlessly from "critics warn PM scrapping triple lock would be electoral suicide" to "critics ask if PM has nerve to make tough decisions" and I don't think it's a particularly pro Burnham stance to suggest he might not be the entire problem here.

The weird thing about this, is there’s nothing really new here. A school can already offer courses in business, construction, childcare and so on, should it so choose www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

It is quite striking if Meta thinks it has the tech + the policy + the will to ban/filter out feminism (but not misogyny, obvs). It sounds like there may be an analogous ban on antiracism (but not racism). www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

It is incredibly important that political violence does not succeed. The far-right mob that shut down Portsmouth wanted this outcome. If the state wishes to avoid more of these actions, it needs to make sure this RNLI branch reopens *immediately*, or as close to that as humanly possible.
