They say the coward dies a thousand deaths, the hero dies but one. Presuming that cowards tend towards slightly higher than average life expectancy, that works out at roughly one imaginary death per month, vs the single, violent and premature death experienced by the hero. Doesn't sound too bad.

Worrying scenes in the Channel today, for all interested in asylum policy and maritime tactics. A small boat from Normandy spent more than 30 hours at sea. Those on board now on their 2nd rescue vessel as Border Force forced to play cat and mouse with far-right activists who have their own boat.

It's long past time that we stopped framing climate change in terms of inaction. it's the same passive voice propaganda trick as saying someone 'died in an explosion' rather than 'was killed by a bomb'.
