It's me, a Telegraph columnist, taking a break screaming bloody murder about fairness in the women's sports I wouldn't be caught dead watching to wax lyrical about academic integrity in sociology, a field I consider to be fake, at institutions I consider to be communist indoctrination centers.

For at least twenty years, in every hotel I've stayed in, if there's a Bible I've signed it 'Cheers for believing, all the best, Jesus'. As a full-time touring musician it's well past the thousand mark by now.

You can actually budget all you want and stop eating out, but it doesn’t change the fact that people don’t just make enough money for this economy anymore.

I work for a major record label and am also a part time musician. I release all of my own music independently because there is literally no value in signing a record deal for any artist.

Also goes for the UK. The obsession with immigrants has amazed me since I was a child in the 90's. Why is it so important to everyone? And why does nobody talk about how everything else is breaking down?

In 2019 I began recording an album that connected a series of events that led to the present day, including the rise of fascism in the UK/US, the complicity of the media, the movement of technology, climate change, how nobody owning anything became a surveillance tool and how it all began with 9/11.

I like playing my vinyl because it encourages musical mindfulness. The act of having to get up, examine the record, flip it, and/or change it for the next one forces me to be more present with the music. Streaming is convenient but you lose that feel.

You can get a used blu-ray player for not much money and pawn shops are filled with movies but physical media continues to blow up in popularity. But if you get started now, the prices are still good and then you own the movie. Forever. Can't recommend it enough.

I'm not big on nostalgia but I do miss how music was allowed to be more weird in the 90s. Like yes capitalists commoditified alt culture, but there is something good about the general public being exposed to Bjork and Aphex Twin and NIN as well as regular pop. Everything's such a monoculture now.

a cool thing about "cd's" is you push one button and it plays an entire album of music ad free and then (unless you request otherwise) it just stops and awaits further instruction. a very elegant system.

All the clips I've seen from Aurora's concert film just show a sea of people holding their phones up looking dead-eyed at her. She's an incredible performer, and this should be an amazing concert film. If this isn't proof that phones have killed the energy at gigs, I don't know what is.
