I wish people understood that TV writers: 1. *Have* actually thought more about this than even the most die hard fan. 2. Are beholden to time, money, and owner constraints that fans will never be aware of. 3. Are extremely likely to already be aware of any critiques because (see 1) but (see 2)

There’s a little free library in Sellwood that’s haunted right now.

A haunted little free library where you can get a glass ghost. 👻

A sign that reads “little free library closed! (Due to haunting) please help with the exorcism (take one ghost)”

I recommend people read this to get a sense of the president's grave cognitive impairment. Trump is either unwilling or unable (or maybe both) to answer the questions he's actually asked, so he just rants and raves while the interviewers do their best to provide structure to his random brain firings

This is the prototype for my first plush stim toy, I hope people like it. Its a stim plush of a retro 90's beaded lizard with a few color options. Its made special so that it has a very pleasant combination of smooth bumps and a fuzzy belly. The keychain loops look like little tongues.

One of the things to come from GamerGate was the gamification of torturing real, live women...hounding them out of their homes, making them look over their shoulders for years. It was treated as a joke, nbd, the work of a few bad apples--as all terrorism against women is--& that failure leads here.

I did like the easy-to-miss "museum" of animation artifacts, someone had fun making those props. It was nice to see some more obscure films chosen.

Museum display of the blue crystal pendant from Atlantis, a film I'd have sworn Disney would basically deny existed. Looks like a quartz crystal point on a cord, but the blue is opaque sort of like turquoise.

Displays of the cats' collars from Aristocats: a green bow tie and white shirt collar, rhinestone studded gold choker for the adult cats, red ribbon tied in a bow, blue bow tie, and pink ribbon with a giant bow in back and tiny pink hairbow for the kittens. The "cat collars" plaque has kitty footprints under "on loan from."

Devil's Eye and message on loan from Penny from.the Rescuers: a green glass bottle with a HELP note inside, and an enormous purple gem.

A fake leaf with a pile of big, perfect acorns, on loan from Chip and Dale.

The park looming over the surface dwellers while polluting their land and dumping their trash on them seems like a pretty scathing metaphor for how the Global North exploits and trashes the Global South. I could be wrong, but I think you're right that this is more than a spitefic about Disney.
