ChaO just arrived on blu-ray! Any weebs who’ve missed out on this weird little spectacular movie, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a great follow-up to Sayonara Lara too, if you’re fishing for a Little Mermaid tail with a happy ending!

RUN FOR COVER (1977) Acrylic on illustration board H. Beam Piper is, of course, best remembered for the Fuzzies of Zarathustra. My involvement with those books began in 1976 when Ace, guided by Jerry Pournelle, repackaged the two original novels: LITTLE FUZZY and FUZZY SAPIENS. #art #booksky 🪐📚

A white haired man stares down a horned and tusked alien boar-like creature as it prepares to charge. Pappy Jack cradles a little fuzzy alien creature in one hand while gripping a laser rifle by the stock with his other. The beast turns intense orange eyes towards the pack of fuzzies that are panicked and looking for cover. The beast’s intentions are clearly hostile from the bristling of its mane to the set of its hooves on the flora covered rise.

Beach Alora (fixed) 🐇🏖 #oc

Drawing of my oc Alora chilling on the beach. A brown anthro bunny woman with dark brown long hair she wears a golden swimsuit with a star cutout showing parts of her belly and her belly button. Depicted lying on her back on top of a pink towel laid across the sand. With her legs resting on the towel with only her thighs visible and resting her head on her arms. Upside down view on her surprised blushing expression.

(don't tell her she missed both golden week AND summer)
I've fixed the Alora drawing finally

for fucking REAL. the depth of trauma for those undiagnosed with ADHD is real. not just the way we feel like we're constantly failing (because everyone is telling us we are) but not understanding WHY because we have no context to understand other people aren't struggling with the things we are.

a digital painting showing the famous Hubble/James Webb image of the Pillars of Creation nebula, with its three tall fingers. the image has been heavily abstracted to be a collection of lines and polygons, and the colors have been saturated, such that it contains strong blues, yellows, and pinks. dots of stars can be seen throughout

a digital painting of a fantasy scene, featuring the eversong woods blood elf starting area from world of warcraft. depicted is a bridge over a calm river, surrounded by brilliant golden trees with sun filtering through, and tall red banners flapping in a breeze.

a square digital painting, showing a collection of growing flowers, leaves, and berries. the image has been abstracted, such that the colors are very saturated, and the shapes have been made more square and linear than is likely true. the main focus of the image is a collection of bright purple flowers, surrounded in the foreground by yellow-green leaves in sunlight, with purple vines between. dotted around are green and black collections of berries with blue reflections of sky. the background is blue-green shapes that suggest foliage.

a digital painting of a person sitting, one elbow resting on their knee, their opposite hand gripping the hilt of a sword. their hair is short, cropped closely to their head and dyed a powder blue. their stool is covered with a red draping fabric. They are wearing a black sports bra and matching underwear, but their soft and round features are otherwise unclothed. the light strikes their face as they look off to the left.
