Note, this only applies to institutions in AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IL, MA, ME, MD, NV, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OR, RI, VT, WA, and WI - because the injunction applies only "within Plaintiff States" Institutions in states with red governors/AGs - Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, etc. - remain screwed

From a journalist friend: Just spreading the word. The CDC is purging data, so people should archive their favorite CDC datasets today, namely ones around race/ethnic diversity, LGBTQ, and reproductive health. Also health data involving climate. The youth risk behavior survey has already gone down.

Haven't seen much discussion of the death penalty EO. Interestingly, it implicates not only the usual death penalty law/policy concerns (lethal injection, evolving standards, etc.) but also the conditions of confinement that people in custody "deserve" based on their offenses.
