Not just impeachable. Impeachment, both pres. and agency heads, is the only option. It's impeachment or nothing. Courts won't stop it. Other tools are impotent. Put them on trial the only way you can. Even if you can't get 2/3, use process as punishment. Make it miserable and costly. It can be done.

As others have said, this is an example of a certifiably bad move or bad GM call, but I think it’s worth delving into why this example feels so relatable and pervasive. Because though you can pretty easily point out how this is against the rules and principles of PBTA, it’s also pretty common.

I say as much down thread, but writing a good PBTA move isn't a solved art, because it requires a mastery of making consequence orthogonal to what the move is testing. PJ is 100% right that this example (taken from reddit) is bad, because it violates the spirit of the roll being a success.

A couple weeks ago when we did the "How to Have a Conversation" session on conversational interactions and conversational design, several people were unable to even purchase tickets. My conversation with the customer service bot afterwards (irony!) was right out of The Unaccountability Machine.
