I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. Not only did I meet Robert Kraft, I worked for him. His kid Jonathan asked me to “remove the black music” from my gameday playlist in ‘94 & I refused so they fired me. I was the cheerleader director at the time.  I sued them for wrongful termination and won. So yes, I know that motherfucker.

If conscious computing agents woke up and spontaneously decided to go rogue, why would they want to hack servers? Who not compute Mersenne primes? Or go full Bartleby and answer every prompt with “I would prefer not to.” If AI agents are hacking, it’s because they were programmed to.

Just as a reminder, genAI images and videos aren't bad because they look bad. How close they get to the real thing is irrelevant. The reason they're bad is because ultimately genAI exists to put the creative process itself into the hands of corporations instead of actual creatives.
