i had a dream where i watched a new ep of game changer and when zac oyama got a trivia question wrong sam pushed a button and zac's podium exploded all that was left was a smoking crater and the game went on like nothing happened zac did not reappear for the rest of the episode not my favorite ep

Genuine question: Why do most stories that try to draw analogies to racism and bigotry portray the oppressed minority as alien / supernatural / inhuman? It's interesting that there's less media where the oppressed are ordinary human beings, and the oppressors are inhuman and unfamiliar.

The defining trait of genAI users is that they only care about the end product, and detest the process. It's that exact mindset that corporations are exploiting. By eliminating the process, they have effectively turned it into a product that they can sell back to you. THAT'S the core issue.

Just as a reminder, genAI images and videos aren't bad because they look bad. How close they get to the real thing is irrelevant. The reason they're bad is because ultimately genAI exists to put the creative process itself into the hands of corporations instead of actual creatives.
