Latest WSJ poll: "63% want to pause AI development 61% want a billionaire wealth tax 59% want Medicare for All 57% want a $20 minimum wage 58% want to end U.S. military aid to Israel" This is the center of the country politically. it is time all adjust to this political spectrum, esp. media.

I wonder if the non-sense political attacks over the last 20 years will become less effective in the age of disinformation.

Add liver cirrhosis and by extension liver transplant to this in the next few years as well with the rise of multi agonist GLP1/GIP and/or glucagon drugs. Obesity related cancers as well over the longer term(20 years)

🤡 Schmitt beclowns himself 🤡 Schmitt concocted an elaborate conspiracy theory that Smith traveled to Atl for a Hawks game and to collude with Fani Willis, & flashed his "evidence" before accusing Smith of perjury. There's just one problem -- his facts were totally wrong. Here's the whole sequence:

"For science to work, you have to have an open exchange of ideas...lf you're going to make an argument that something is misinformation, you should provide an actual argument. You can't just take it down and say, 'Oh, it's misinformation' without actually giving a reason...Let's hear the argument, let's see the evidence that YouTube used to decide it was misinformation. Let's have a debate.
Science works best when we have an open debate," said

I was pretty chuffed about science when the doctors at NYU figured out why my face had gone numb and I had lost the ability to speak and swallow. They turned to the scientific literature, which guided them through keeping me from dying from a rare disorder and regaining the ability to speak and eat.
