Professor @mlbarnett.bsky.social has found that amid the explosion in training programs for our expanding #nursepractitioner workforce, nearly 1 in 3 new NPs is being educated by a for-profit program. Dr. Barnett's reasons for concern: www.brown.edu/news/2026-10-08/profi…

Publication bias probably doesn't matter if we just ignore low quality research (which is really what we should do).

There is a distinct sheet pan size that you very useful, which gets close to maxing out the allowable space. Also, some 11x14 baking dishes fit, while other don't.

Never used Ninja; my sense is that everything is pretty similar with differences in how much air flow the thing is producing. I make pizzas in the thing with super high temps and a baking stone. Oven is ridiculously good with correct and even temperatures.

I don't think this is true; the end was awful. The first ~4 seasons were (and remain) outstanding.

Kids started watching GoT; which was and remains and outstanding show for most of it's run. I'd argue the problem with LOST wasn't the conclusion (which was awful), but the 25% pointless episodes that came along with weekly release.

I think this is the right answer. A British office run would be been perfect. Scrolling the replies is interesting b/c a poor ending didn't ruin most of the mentioned shows.

One of the things that still to this day puzzle me is why statisticians don't deconstruct various AI tools to map them to existing constructs/models/methods of their trade. It would have become rather obvious that some (or even all) of the AI are rebranded statistical models, which in turn would

lol- this med is so good. Seems like the vast majority of people would end up on 9mg and then titrating back to something like 4mg. This will be individualized, but the rate of people stopping 12mg or titrating down was real (i.e. it was TOO effective). www.nejm.org/doi/full/10....

If trial results hold; you are screening 70k people to move 50 people from a diagnosis of a stage IV to stage III cancer with multiple years of screeing. Thats like a 0.07% movement from IV --> III. Good luck showing clinical outcomes with that.
