my current focus on writing games specifically for retro systems is partly in response to this, the toolchains im using are all a decade old, long before LLM coding was even thought of. and yet, it will last longer than most software being written right now

happy to see QC get its big farewell update too. quake champions was always my favorite quake gameplay wise. i'm also proud to say i came up with the name (and pushed against calling it quake world haha) and the design of athena's hook was my one big brained game designer moment!
