There is a lot of "oh dear" to go around in the results of this very thorough Pew study on the issues with synthetic samples, but this strikes me as particularly "oh dear" www.pewresearch.org/data-labs/20...
AI polling results can lean on racial or partisan stereotypes

In many cases, our AI poll took beliefs or attitudes that are reasonably common among a particular subgroup and portrayed them as nearly ubiquitous. For example, our AI poll would indicate that:

97% of Hispanic adults are at least somewhat likely to follow the World Cup (while the actual share is 43%).

Something of note; with the reports that Burnham is apparently swaying towards free personal care model as done in Scotland, this combined with moves to enable water renationalisation, and electoral reform...is Andy Burnham just making England into Scotland under devolution?

I'll believe Burnham is a progressive when he brings forward laws to undo our historically hostile position against LGBTQ+ people, immigrants and refugees, and protesters. Until then he's just Blue Labour with better vibes.

Taking out a fixed-term mortgage is essentially doing a bet on the future of the economy and it feels very weird to be making that bet on the basis of "actually the entire stock market is wrong about their bet on the next few years" and having £000s on the line on that bet.

As for this bizarre passage, it seems to be suggesting that the government are more sincerely anti-immigration than the fascists are
But it feels like some people are not doing this out of concern for the issue, it is about a poisonous form of politics. They are exploiting the issue for their own purposes and I think most people can see it for what it is, but it does need to be dealt with firmly.
