At one point I was a nextdoor mod. There was a woman complaining about BLM protests and a reply got flagged for moderation- a guy told her to register her complaints with the Department of BOFA and when she asked what that was he replied "bofa deez nuts." I approved the reply. Fuck nextdoor.

This was the pinnacle of human achievement. Everything has gone downhill since then.

A photo of a brightly colored plastic fish with a working radio inside. The product was available in the 1990s, and billed itself as a waterproof shower radio for kids. It felt incredible as a child to be able to hear music in the bathroom, let me tell you. The mouth switched between AM and FM signals, and there is a large dial in the middle to select the station. The eye of the fish turned it on and controlled the volume.
