So tonight I went to an exhibition of the work of the late BBC Costume Designer, Joyce Hawkins, covering her 3 decade long career from 1958 to her retirement in 1988. She died in May this year, aged 95. Well done on all that, Joyce

One of my favorite cases of someone being Wrong on the Internet was a very earnest, very confused vegan who was telling people how cruel honey is; and it eventually turned out they thought honey was made by putting bees in a centrifuge and spinning them around until they threw up.

It’s amazing (extremely negative) how U.S. diplomacy is focused on getting the aggressor a win, trying to find some way to secure gains for Russia that the Russian military has failed — for over 4.5 years and counting! — to achieve on the battlefield. What an awful, consequential, damaging change.
