There’s a handful, but here’s the thing: Marvel is simply really friggin‘ bad at publishing, so has never really pursued it. Say what you will about DC (& there’s SO much bad to say), but at least they had Vertigo, Minx, Zuda, etc. They at least try new stuff, formats and approaches.

Mega Robo Bros is a genuinely brilliant series, and I’d also add this: As a parent, I know that it can be a little tricky to get your child to move from purely funny books to more dramatic ones*. If your kid loves Donut Squad, Mega Robo Bros is the absolute perfect series to do this.

What on earth is happening?

This had become the new normal. RNLI crew members had been forced to take their permits off their cars after their tyres have been repeatedly slashed. Most of them have been pilloried at the school gates or turned away from local pubs. One man who worked in search and rescue had been beaten unconscious and hospitalised, recognised for TV interviews he had done.

For context on how good PLR is: I earn about as much from the PLR loan payments as I do in domestic sales royalties for Bumble & Snug. No-one serious would ever say libraries have a negative impact on sales (& I’d argue the opposite).
