It's amazing how capitalists have built an economy around a destructive technology and made it so that any attempt to mitigate its effects will result in harm to everyone. Feels more like a threat than a cautionary warning, doesn't it?

"Capitalism breeds innovation", an idiotic capitalist says, as they slap a paywall in front of basic human needs like housing, education, healthcare, public transportation, clean drinking water, internet connection, third spaces, while trying to sell 30,000 different brands of chips and toothpaste.

The conclusion is not that Gaza alone shifted millions of votes. The conclusion is that Gaza was a strong signal alongside a bunch of other factors including campaigning with Cheney and shifting right on immigration, war, etc. that made the Democratic base stay home.

Isaias is expected to strengthen into a strong hurricane before approaching the northern Gulf Coast on Friday. There is an increasing risk of life-threatening storm surge along portions of the northern Gulf coast, and a Storm Surge Watch has been issued.
National Hurricane Center forecast for Tropical Storm Isaias, issued Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Isaias is over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph. The forecast shows strengthening to a hurricane as the storm moves northeast across the Gulf, approaching the northern Gulf Coast near the Florida Panhandle Friday. The system is then forecast to move inland and weaken through the weekend. The cone shows the probable path of the storm’s center, not the storm’s size.Storm surge: Peak storm surge forecast for Tropical Storm Isaias along the northern Gulf Coast. The highest forecast surge is 5–7 feet above ground level from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, eastward to Indian Pass, Florida, including Mobile Bay. Forecast surge is 3–5 feet from the mouth of the Mississippi River to Ocean Springs and from Indian Pass to the Aucilla River, with generally lower levels farther west and along Florida’s Big Bend.

Democrats caved and/or facilitated this monopolization of practically every major media property in the US into the hands of a MAGA fascist psychopath. If the US had an opposition party, each of its presidential contenders would would vow to dissolve this monopoly by any means necessary.

She went to the cops. She reported she was raped. They didn't bother writing that part down in the report. 🤬🤬🤬
At the center of the criticism has been the revelation that the woman, in her statements to the police at the time, said that she could say “with 100 percent confidence I was raped.” While the six-page statement explained that she felt some of the night’s events were a crime, it omitted the more definitive language detailed in an transcription of her interview with investigators.

Greek Life shouldn’t exist at all, and the only reason that frats continue to be a thing is because rich donors that are part of the patriarchal ruling class and exercise control over most university boards use them to perpetuate and spread their capitalist culture to young men.

It's wild how more people identify as DemSocs than MAGA, yet we have the system that's in place now because capitalists would rather have fascism than make even the slightest concessions in the form of social democracy.
