It's that time of year: lots of people will be sick, and many won't know what sickness it is. It's a good idea to get tested, but even if you don't know what it is, *please* stay home as much as possible, get plenty of rest to help yourself recover, and wear masks if you have to go out while sick!

The vaccination schedule is based on your child's immune system & when they are most at risk of illnesses. Delaying vaccinations puts their health at risk & does not make them safer in any way. Protect your kids by getting them vaccinated on time. Learn more: www.healthychildren.org/English/safe...
There are no medical benefits of delaying vaccinations. The vaccine schedule was developed based on your child’s immune system and when they are most at risk of diseases. Delaying vaccination puts your child at greater risk of developing a preventable illness. On-time vaccination is the safest and most effective way to protect your child’s long-term health from preventable illnesses.

The holiday travel weekend is here! Unfortunately, it's easy to be exposed to others who may be sick while traveling. As COVID-19 cases continue to increase across the country, masking is a great way to protect yourself from COVID, measles, colds, and other viruses that spread through the air!
A picture of a bunch of people at an airport standing in line with their suitcases, waiting to go through the metal detector. Captions over two peoples heads say they are sick, one of whom doesnt have symptoms and doesn’t know she’s sick already. Two other people who are not wearing masks have captions saying they are at high risk of getting sick here. One person, the only one wearing a mask, has a bubble over his head saying he is at low risk of becoming infected here.

Thanks to measles vaccines, many of us have never seen measles deaths or hospitalization, & it's easy to forget how serious measles is. As vaccination decreases, deaths & hospitalizations increase again. Vaccination helps protect your family & stop outbreaks. www.healthychildren.org/English/safe...
The sentence "No one I know ever died from measles" is crossed out. The rest of the text says "400-500 people in the U.S. died from measles each year before measles vaccines became available. Most of us don’t know them because they are no longer with us, and because Measles vaccines reduced measles deaths so much, it’s easy to forget they ever happened."the sentence "Measles is not that serious" is crossed out. The rest of the text says "Measles caused 48,000 hospitalizations and 1,000 cases of brain swelling in the U.S. each year before vaccines became available. Thanks to vaccines, many of us have never seen measles at all. Thanks to vaccines, many of us have never had to know how serious measles is. Vaccines allow us to live without the impacts of measles. Reduced vaccination rates are causing these impacts to come back."

The data is clear: Vaccines have significantly increased children's chances of longer, healthier lives. Before Immunization Awareness Month ends, get the facts & make a plan to get your kids up to date on their vaccines to protect their lifelong health. www.healthychildren.org/English/safe...
The data is clear: More children now live until at least age one than at any other time in history. Vaccines account for 40% of reductions in infant mortality. The measles vaccine accounted for about 60% of lives saved by vaccines. CDC estimates that vaccination of kids born between 1994 and 2003 will:
Prevent more than 500 million illnesses
Avoid more than 100 deaths
Save nearly $3 trillion. Vaccines help give children longer, healthier lives. https://tinyurl.com/yc3pxks6. https://tinyurl.com/3ry2pc2f
