@curatorian.bsky.social Ian I'm trying to look for photos in the IWM catalogue between a certain date range. Am I being slow or are the filters 'limited'?

@uk-tank-markings.co.uk Graham I don't suppose you have any Orbat charts for home forces tank units in 1940? I'm geolocating units in SE England and let's just say the War Diaries I have are'thin' on info

A slightly late post to say I attended @1940andy.bsky.social's fascinating talk on SS Barn Hill last week. And in my usual fashion of going off at tangents, I'm trying to resist the urge to start researching wartime convoys @nickhewitt4.bsky.social

@vickersmg.bsky.social Folks, slightly random question for you. I have some civilian building plans that show an indoor (rifle) range that may have been about 40 yards long. Building seems to be cira 1910 so any ideas on what sort of weapons might have been used?

@uk-tank-markings.co.uk dunno why this has popped into my head but how easy would it be to do monochrome versions of your markings? Wondering if this would help with comparing and IDing period photographs 🤔
