Jabbed. Pharmacy was still defaulting to Moderna so we got that. Thought we could do mom with us at the grocery store but ended up having to grab a slot at Kaiser for her. I let them do Covid and flu in the same arm. We'll see how that goes.

I started my death doula training this year in part because I have also become a family dementia caregiver and I believe both are sacred responsibilities. There's a reasonable part of early stages where some kinds of medical care make sense but I believe a light hand is appropriate and loving.

Surgery is very rare for trans kids. But it is sometimes necessary, lifesaving care. I have a friend who runs the boys’ portion of a support group for trans families. He told me when CHLA shut down care that he thought there were two or three kids in his group who would not make it to adulthood.
