I did have one problem where an inbound (rather large) transaction didn't show up in my Revolut account, I dropped Revolut support a chat message and then checked my phone a few hours later and the conversation had passed through like 9 different support agents who... did eventually resolve it.

These days I've mostly been bouncing my (stock sale) cash via Revolut, but a bunch of colleagues use Wise for the same. IME it's never been worthwhile to treat international banks as the same entity for transfers because they just... behave too differently.

Under Over Over - West Hampstead So it's taken a while, but I've finally found a location where you can clearly see London Underground trains traveling over London Overground trains. The vantage point is at West Hampstead Overground station at the end of the platform.

since it's the last day of pride month I figured I'd at least make one thing for it... i now unveil to you my greatest invention: color bars pride flag
An LGBTQ+ pride flag formatted in the layout of the SMPTE "color bars" test pattern used for broadcast television. The first set of columns use the colors of the gay pride flag, with the addition of the original SMPTE color on the final column. The second set of columns contains two pride flags - the pansexual flag horizontally, and the asexual flag flipped and horizontal. The final set of columns contains the three colors of the transgender flag and the two POC-inclusive colors, followed by the original bar gradient from the SMPTE ECR-1-1978 pattern.

In the same way the Chrome folks were totally within their rights to say "err, maybe don't depend on this endpoint directly from your libraries/apps" - don't blame them because they announced a change to that endpoint coming up several months ago and you failed to respond at all.

Honestly pretty shocked at the apps that decided that using this single-maintainer open source NO WARRANTY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED project to mediate connections _to their own API backend_ was a good idea.

I've had the "auth" org on the Sentry hosted SaaS product for ages (judging by my email, 2019). This leads to the hilarious consequence that sentry.io/auth/ leads to a signin page that sends me an email saying you requested access, but the actual login page for Sentry is at sentry.io/auth/login/

Is it just me that's like "hmm, this supposed 'new UK-EU deal' to allow UK citizens to use EU e-gates comes very suspiciously close to when EES is supposed to come into effect"? I mean, I'm sure the details of said deal will take until, say, October to hammer out...

In fairness, it looks like the JS and CSS percentage being so high is because... they have accidentally(?) checked their staticfiles output into Git? I guess their point is that they don't include any external JS/CSS on user-facing pages? I don't see how that helps, or is a useful selling point.
