A lot of older manga definitely look weirder because of the forced flipping. Panels don't read as well, flow gets muddled. I'm sure it's looked legit ghastly but I don't have any that come to mind.

I still see a lot of confusion about what decompilation, recompilation and ports are and what level of effort is involved in each type of project. It's important that people understand the difference, as recompilation took a drastically different meaning that when it was originally introduced.

Fleritz Preview is done! But, I wanted to fix some things before stealth-dropping on you guys. Stay tuned. Changed the tilemaps from skewed perspective to head-on. Fixed some visibility problems I was having with the game and made things 'pop' more imo. Sorry MM8 fans :/

the flip side of this, of course, is that i have absolutely played some roguelite twists on other games that had great core mechanics but felt like they didn't need to be roguelites. like it was more fun for the designer to conceive the procgen and loot pool than for me to actually play it
