One thing I do like in this game is the abundance of breakable objects. It makes the decent combat feel more interesting and fierce for sure.

With all the blue trails talk in Wolverine, I think it’s worth showing an example. It’s used to represent smell in select instances like this. However, it’s not a GPS trail - you’ll note it lingers in a specific area but doesn’t actually direct you. Also, waypoint markers are optional and off here.

I played this too. It’s a nice 8/10 I would say and feels like a PS2-era character action game which, honestly, is not a bad thing for me. Regardless of that, the tech is quite good with excellent image quality.

Tested Switch 2 VRR Games need to be patched, only Welcome Tour supports it now It supports full LFC in 120hz mode In 60hz mode, it supports between 40-60hz like Xbox which is better than PS5's 48-60hz support Thankfully with the internal screen being VRR, most games should have it going forward

Yeah, I was surprsied and disappointed by Kando's descent into AI bullshit. No interest in anything else they work on going forward and I'm glad to see this response to it. I know other folks that have worked with them in the past are quietly disappointed as well.

One of those interesting misconceptions I see about CRTs often is that 'most people probably had cheaper models' but what's cool about CRT tech is that it didn't matter. The way CRTs work inherently means that even cheap models have perfect motion clarity, deep blacks and beautiful phosphor glow!

Onimusha 3 is also a visual masterpiece. They switched to fully real-time 3D graphics yet still managed to retain the majesty of the pre-renders, I feel. All at 60 fps again!
