Part 1 of SBH's main story has been complete, and so I've been working on some side content to prepare for the release. I've always loved when you can play as an 'enemy', so I wanted to make a game mode in which you can play as bosses you've previously fought. (1/2) #gamedev #indiegame

I've managed to fully finish the game's first major boss fight, Livio, as well as make a small system for creating 'cinematic' fight intros using existing attack animations, inspired by match-up intros from old fighting games. #gamedev

Chapter 1 of the story is now complete, with all of the chapter- specific cutscenes, animations and battles finished! I've also made a start on composing the game's soundtrack recently, which has been an interesting change of pace. There's a full blog post on my site! sceaven.com/blog #gamedev
