Community will always be a force multiplier over corporate greed.

$Meme. Omni-Man looks at jet fighters in the distance. They are labelled "AI companies spending billions a day, consuming massive resources and killing the planet." Omni-man himself is labelled "Furaffinity funding the backbone for an entire community for 6 months with $180k". He turns and says "Look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power."$

Once again thinking about how cool it would be to be a Cosmopolitan in #Lancer. I love the idea of a relativistic culture living like the Ousters, dedicated to spreading life across the stars and adapting to new environments rather than terraforming

However she was able to patch herself up more while the others looked for fuel to burn the bodies, and she took some "research" samples. Our party headed back to Talgyth now that they had the samples the doctor wanted, and will soon learn about the town being surrounded.

The Zombies, used some unusual rudimentary flanking tactics and managed to knock her down to 0 flesh, triggering Bleeding and a Head Wound. She was able to staunch the bleeding while the Knight and Witch finished off the zombies. Unfortunately the concussion made it hard to remove the injury

We did our first combat last night in Black Death Rising, against a group of 4 zombies on the road leading out of town. The Knight, predictably, was fine if a bit inaccurate with his sword. The Witch stayed in the back and got some very good sling attacks in. Our poor Plague Doctor had a bad time

i'm sure FA discussing that their sponsored considered "plus size" (fat) characters to be adult content is a revelation to some but to me this is just a basic fact of making fat art that doesn't portray fatness as tragic or gross. people view it as fetishistic by default

yeah of course being advertiser friendly means excluding fat people. physical stores are allowed to tell you that plus sizes are only available online and this doesn't read as segregation to thin people

Interrupting their morning was commotion near the town church. A pair of farmers had been headed to their fields, only to be chased back to town by a small mob of reportedly more intelligent plague zombies. The Plague Doctor has sallied forth to collect research samples with the cohort in tow.

Our Knight paid for a comfortable room in the inn, and shared a breakfast with some generous travellers from Italy. Our Witch and Outlaw, being locals, stayed with kinfolk or friends. Our Plague Doctor made use of the innkeeper's offer of the stable, as she had no coin to her name.

So last night was the first Black Death Rising session. Our cohort is a mix of travellers and locals to Talgyth and came to the village late in the evening. Mostly it was an establishing session to give everyone a chance to feel out their characters and the system.

A peasant rascal armed with farming implements goes off to start a fight. The Lyrics to BlackBird Raum's "The Helm of Ned Kelly" are captioned:
We'll be eating soup of stone till what we grow is what we own. But we won't steal from the land what's freely given. Tear up the deeds to the land, throw the debts into the furnace. Debts to god, to the banks, and to the landlords.

Molten droplets bellows outward like a cape behind the mechanized frame, radiating heat out into the vacuum before riding the magnetic wind back into the intake. They call this 'Angel Wings', commonly seen when combat frame enters combat mode.

I will! I'm definitely interested in seeing how tough in practice player characters are and how the undeath mechanics play into that. It seems like a really elegant system for holding onto a character so long as it is physically possible for them to keep going.
