I hope this comes off as judgement-free. But can we go ahead and rename the "cozy" genre of videogames to what it is: dollhouse simulator? 'Cause that'd what it is. It's fine; I've put my share of hours and then some into Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, but they're dollhouse simulators.

Idea for a film: Gremlins, but instead of Mogwai it's "Mambo #6." Replace the wise old shopkeeper with Lou Bega. Setting is a little town in the early aughts that gets inundated with spring breakers every March or April. Bega's final speech can be lifted word-for-word from the Gremlins' script.
