Aidan has been messaging friends from bed all afternoon. I'm so happy he is able to do that now. I feel like the past three weeks they have been bombarding me with texts and messages and I loved getting everyone of them, but it's nice to know they can communicate directly with him now.

Aidan was allowed to have a bit of code red mountain dew on a swab this afternoon and that made him happy. We were able to take him for a stroll in his wheelchair and get out of his room for a while. He got to get out of the wheelchair and use the walker to walk up and down the hallway.

Good morning, Aidan is doing well. They removed the ventilator a day ago and he is breathing well on his own. This morning they were going to evaluate adding the pmv valve to the trach to make it possible for him to speak and swallow,

I came home from work and Aidan's twin brother, Ryan had finished my laundry. I got in the shower and when I got out he was outside mowing my lawn. He's such a good guy

I got to work this morning and was the first key holder there. The cleaning lady was outside waiting. I haven't opened the building once this month because of Aidan's accident. I completely forgot about the building alarm, so the owner got a six am phone call from the alarm company.

I went to work this morning and stayed an entire shift, then I went to see Aidan when I knew he was alone. Since he's been awake the visitors has increased and I have tried to let them have their time. I had days on end with him but he was asleep.

It's kinda weird, there are friends of his hanging around that he didn't want me to talk to at all, he always went to their place. I've spoken to a few of them while respecting his wishes only to have them tell me that they already knew and are happy that he is happy
