After he was told that he said he wanted me to pick him up Friday night to go home. I explained he would definitely not be going home Friday and he was a little bit upset. But the mountain dew cheered him. Ryan, Aidan and I all played a hand of uno and Aidan won.

His stride is really good. He just has a small balance issue but he'll get it back with more practice. They have him scheduled to have his bone flap put back into place in his head on Friday.

Aidan was allowed to have a bit of code red mountain dew on a swab this afternoon and that made him happy. We were able to take him for a stroll in his wheelchair and get out of his room for a while. He got to get out of the wheelchair and use the walker to walk up and down the hallway.

He had a CT scan yesterday and the shift along his brain's midline has returned to almost it's normal position it's off by just 8 mm. His labs have been improving. His hemoglobin has steadily been increasing and he is almost into normal range again, so he shouldn't need anymore blood infusions.

however Aidan had plans of his own and he removed the trach himself earlier this morning. They are going to go ahead and leave it out as that would have been the next step anyway.

I got to work this morning and was the first key holder there. The cleaning lady was outside waiting. I haven't opened the building once this month because of Aidan's accident. I completely forgot about the building alarm, so the owner got a six am phone call from the alarm company.

I went to work this morning and stayed an entire shift, then I went to see Aidan when I knew he was alone. Since he's been awake the visitors has increased and I have tried to let them have their time. I had days on end with him but he was asleep.
