We report: there are altostratus clouds keeping dawn at bay, and it feels darker down here for the specks of light we can see. We are expecting rain in the afternoon, but we think it might come early when we see the clouds still advancing, and we hear the wind rising.

Spooky bird stories. My Halloween comic from 2024.

A comic titled Spooky Bird Stories. In panel 1, a turkey vulture is telling stories to other vultures, and it says, "She walked toward the source of the terrible smell. Lol. Yeah, you need to check your supplies at least every few years. And not just food! Other materials break down. I think the one that surprised me most over the years was my 3M n95 masks: eventually the elastic straps become fragile & can snap. 😷 Nitrile gloves, light sticks & bandaids degrade.
