Garak does some independent research on Halloween and books himself and Julian a holosuite haunted house. Bashir arrives in his spy tux. Halloween is also an excuse for favorite costumes, after all. Garak has anticipated this and is wearing an off-the-shoulder gown (with hidden pockets, of course).

I highly recommend being part of the deck crew for a musical. You know how sea shanties make it really clear that being an old-timey sailor was awful? Deck crew is like if being an old-timey sailor weren't awful. Load-in and strike, too!

#StarTrek lore for the #MineralCup: The "salt vampire" asks very clearly for a resupply of salt tablets. She only starts taking salt from elsewhere after the officers of the Enterprise repeatedly delay giving her this resource. A nice bit of #halite would have solved the problem before it escalated.

Food preservation is pretty great. I just had leftovers from over two months ago that were perfect because they froze well. I have tomatoes in my pantry that will still be good months from now because they're expertly canned. The kimchi in my fridge would last far longer than it will take to eat it.
