Portrait of an otter. Such wonderful creatures, truly seem to enjoy life, making the best of their watery habitat, muddy banks and even snow. It was a great challenge to paint the wet fur of this fellow, and capture some of that inquisitive energy. Acrylics on board 9.8″ x 9.8″ (25 x 25 cm)
Painting in acrylics of an otter, it´s head and shoulders facing the viewer, its head slightly turned to the right. The otter is wet, the fur shiny with bluuish light. There are lots of droplets in the whiskers.
