Really interesting to see the dynamics of the smoke plume in Berkeley. Thought this map looked odd, but it tracks with the visible plume: it's rising over the fire, bay winds are pushing it due east, and it's dropping down as it cools. I can barely see the hills through the smoke. Still localized.

Both quartz and graphite can form in the same kinds of rocks, either entangled together or with graphite as an inclusion within quartz. This gradient most often in hydrothermal fluid. As the fluids cool, carbon precipitates out first as graphite with silica crystallizing into clear quartz crystals around it.

I guess my biggest Takeaway is that there is no software or curriculum that you can purchase they can do anything better than well trained teachers. Invest the time and money needed to help Ts understand how students learn subjects and how to teach them those subjects and you will see improvement.
