If anyone missed out on the chance to buy Andrew Pixley's books "The Goodies DVD File" and "The Goodies Book of Criminal Recordings" before Network went into liquidation a few years ago, there's good news.

The newly reopened company is selling the books, and they're offering special pricing for Goodies fans (the link is posted on @The Goodies page). Two bundles are being offered, one with the two books and the second also including the DVD "An Audience with The Goodies".

These are the two books which originally were part of the "A Binge of Goodies" limited edition set.

THE SWEENEY ANNUALS (1976-1978): Post-watershed fun with Reagan and Carter - a bullet to the groin, a double page spread of the pissed-up duo in a sweaty pub, and grimy photos. Just the thing for the little 'uns to unwrap on Christmas Day.

It's easy (and fun!) to criticise Edmonds, but the way he handles the studio audience here once the cameras are officially off, and how he facilitates the studio guest being well served, are a masterclass in how to deal with these disasters. But as Jon hints: the meetings after can only be imagined.
