Have you noticed how mainstream media talk about AI has suddenly shifted to "omg it's conscious because it asked not to be turned off!!!"? It's as conscious as a piece of bread someone had written "please don't toast me" on. It says what it's told to. Bomb the data centres. Don't fall for this.

A really basic thing that people who use generative AI to make flyers, menus, book covers etc don't seem to grasp is that it makes it look like a scam. Using an image which has been generated makes it look like the real thing doesn't exist. No one wants to buy a ticket or whatever. It looks fake.
