Oh, I forgot! frames29, 91 and 135. I tried to do different medium and style (the painting is acrylic on paper). Funnily enough my favourite is the one I did on the deadline afternoon/evening because I wasn’t happy with what I had for this frame.

I had only one frame in this lovely project, so I decided to make it larger than life - or at least as large as the blue whale in the background. 🐋 So here are Ed and Merstede, wearing a shirt but with his tail sticking up behind him. And I gave him crystal tears! #ofmd #ofmdfanart #LaVieEnFrames

So, the French knots are my pride and joy, but I ended up doing a bunch of frames (and a bunch of fireworks) because of pinch hitting. Here’s another one! This was my first ever time using lineart in a piece and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!

So excited for you all to see this amazing project! I had frame 108. I was nervous to participate but got Procreate, learned about layers and tracing and had fun figuring out how to “paint” and add little details. I cheated on the background, going for sheet music of La Vie En Rose in OFMD pink.

My final frame. Ed and Stede are kissing. Ed’s right hand is holding Stede’s neck. The background is a parchment color with hot pink music notes from sheet music for La Vie En Rose.

I have two frames in this project! The first one was a blurry little bastard so I decided to lean into that with an ephemeral, fleeting time sort of vibe. Every moment only lasts an instant. The second one I committed to maximum emotional devastation and I was SO happy with how this came out 😂😌
