Two panel comic. Panel 1: a girl says to a guy, “my homegirl thinks you’re cute.” Panel 2: the guy looks over to the left at the alleged homegirl, who is standing in the corner of the room, dripped out head-to-toe in SpongeBob SquarePants-related merchandise, including but not limited to: a t-shirt that reads: “IF YOU SEE DA POLICE… KRUSTY KRAB”, a best friends forever watch, spongebobs signature black shoes, and Mermaid Man’s belt set to “W” for Wumbo

This wouldn't so much be touching the stove as it would be gorilla gluing both ass cheeks to the stove. The US refines roughly 20% of all the diesel traded globally. This would crash the global economy.

I have increasingly come around to the idea that the big reason fascism is rising is simply that its previous disastrous rise has passed out of living memory, and the social antibodies that created have plummetted.

We are a broken nation. Hundreds of thousands of Haitians were living and working legally, paying taxes, and contributing. Haiti remains wholly unsafe. But Trump hates Haitians, and the White House wanted videos of Black people in chains, so they stripped them of status and turned on the cameras.

Those with terminated TPS are in our nation Illegally. They have two options: LEAVE IMMEDIATELY or be DEPORTED.

These people had protected status. They lived here legally. They worked, they paid taxes. They made lives. Raised families. Now we’ve dehumanized them. Ripped away that protection and told them to get out. This is a stain on the soul of this Nation.

Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

The Warrior-Witches of Ukraine’s Resistance

For several months last year, a Ukrainian housewife, 35 and lonely in a marriage that had gone cold, traded WhatsApp messages with a Chechen commander, Achmad, stationed somewhere in Ukraine’s occupied south. They wrote about their days, their disappointments, what they hoped to do when the war ended. She asked about the front. He told her.

“Send me a picture,” she said. “I want to see your life.”

One afternoon, he obliged—a photograph taken inside the barracks, of himself and another soldier grinning for the camera. Behind them, pinned to the wall, was a map of the compound showing the unit’s position.

The housewife did not exist. “She” was a middle-aged officer named Serhiy working for Ukraine’s military-intelligence directorate, part of a concerted effort to draw secrets from the men sent to occupy his country.

“Serhiy was great at flirting,” his commander told me. “Guys in our team started asking him for dating advice.” Shortly after Achmad sent that photograph, the coordinates it revealed were struck by a Ukrainian drone.

The thing that makes “gutter racism” an appropriate term for this is that it goes beyond even what segregation’s savviest defenders were willing to say in public 60-70 years ago. They understood that this level of explicit racial animus was embarrassing to the cause.

John Lewis had John Roberts' number from the jump: takebackthecourt.substack.com/p/john-lewis...
Take Back the Court REP. JOHN LEWIS: In 1965, Jurist Roberts was only 10-years-old. He may be a brilliant lawyer, but I wonder whether he can really understand the depth of what it took to get the Voting Rights Act passed. The right to vote is precious, almost
sacred. It is the most powerful non-violent tool we have in a democratic society. As many of you know, I gave a little blood on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, but some
of my friends and colleagues gave all they had, their very lives for the right to vote. I feel that if Judge Roberts is confirmed to be the Chief Justice of the United States, the Supreme Court would no longer hear the people's cries for justice. I feel that the leadership of the Court will promote politics over the protection of individual rights and liberties. If the Federal Courts had abandoned us in the civil rights movement in the name of judicial restraint, we might still be struggling with the
burden of legal segregation in America today. Jurist Roberts's memos reveal him to be hostile towards civil rights, affirmative action and the Voting Rights Act. He has even said that Voting Rights Act
violations, and I quote, "should not be made too easy to prove.'
